Help needed!

« on: February 15 2007 08:02:00 »

Hi, I’m living in Edinburgh and getting into surfing unfortunately none of my other friends are and I’m lacking the speed of 4 wheels! So if anyone out there can help me out with some info about where I can go to get a lift, or if someone needs a surfing buddy (beginner though!) please let me know :-)

Hiya i'm a new surfer too, It would be really good if we could all arrange a day to meet up. I hate surfing alone especially in big swell which can be intimidating  and those annoying rip tides!

i have all my winter gear on order now!

so what does everyone think?

Hi tom i started out by  taking a lesson  at c2c surf school and just hired from c2c at the beach . it really helps to have a car but you can walk to the beach  from the train station and the train to dunbar is only 25 mins

Sure the Dunbar thing works if you dont have a car, I did it when I was in that situation and lived in Edinburgh, you always get comments from some kids in Dunbar though,

'oi mister is that a surfboard?'
