We surf on the west coast travelling from Perth .. Are there any good sport to surf north of Dundee? We've been to St A's a few times but with no great shakes.

Alright Chris, Montrose Lunnan Bay can be good on it's day. Gotta say I've had a few surfs at St Andrews and had a quality time. Also been to Tentsmuir miles of breaks with no-one in....
I'm movin back soon and could be working in Perth, drop me a mail sometime, sure we could do a car share or sommit.
Hi Oz, fraid I have to be back on the 22nd fella, but should be back in October.

Hey, I live in Perth and am keen to go on surfing trips from there, however I am very much a beginner and am hiring my gear at the moment. I have transport, is there much of a surfing community in Perth?

My outlaws stay in Dundee, (I'm in Gl;asgow) not been up for ages tho as we've just had a bambino and I've been dry too long. Should be around a fair bit after September though, just in time for the autumn/winter swells
There are a fair few breaks within 30 mins to an hour of Dundee. I'm determind to get Lunan on a big clean day, I've heard stories of a really gid point on the north end of the bay that breaks when the swell direction n wind is right. I've only had Lunan all mushy so here's hoping this winter produces the goods. St A's has a gid vibe. Surfed there a fair bit as it's so close to Dundee

I stay in Dundee and would like to get some more contacts for surf trips from here.
Am beginner/improver level, whatever that means, so like to surf in numbers.
I have my own gear and transport.
So just get in touch
