Very hot time of year. Gambia off and on. Morocco excellent waves. no crowds. Lots of thieves. Senegal. good waves. Also off and on at this time. Go to N'gor Island one mile north of Dakar, ask for Patti-nah. Owns a camp at best spot. Can get crowded.

Thank in advance,

Surfing in Senegal is much better than Gambia - waves are generally better. Almadies in the best place to go, just outside of Dakar, or Yoff is quite good too. Ngor has loads of shacks and restaurants looking onto the sea where you can sit and watch others surfing which is pretty amazing! In Gambia I'd suggest driving out of Banjul (past the airport) and just see what you think - you might get lucky!
