Been to Bora Bora all I can say there is surf but you will need someone to show you the way the best thing to do is hook up with a guy named john I cant remember his last name but the island is small he lives near the school on the mountain side just below the "famous peak" he has a boat and is very nice if you find him let him lnow one of the hawaiian paddlers from 2002 said aloha

i stayed on bora for 14 mnths part of the new zealand construction team building the bora bora nui resort and spa.as there is only one pass surf is limited.you dont want to go there for a surf trip.the pass can go literally months on end with no waves.ok.the left side of the pass is an evil wave that is all over i acoupleof seconds as it hits the reef hard then backs way off.the best swell direction for this wave is a sw swell. the right is where i got my best waves you need a north swell for this.. i surfed these waves out of deperation stuck on bora for that long but honestly i scored the right pumping 3 times and the left pumping once.if you go here check it out but you definately want to stay huahine or moorea these places will blow you mind. if if you want more info mail me.

Hi to Badge going to Haapiti
Good choice but get in shape 'cause the current can take you out to sea after a certain size . Othewhise it quite forgiving if you take off on the edge. The inside is well lined up and tubes quite well .Just don't get caught on the outside line up .
Its quite good right now, not too big..thats gonna change in a few weeks. We're entering in the South-West season and it's going to start pumping.
