I haven't surfed since i moved to Rochester 9 years ago. i live next to durrand beach and the waves are sometimes ridable . i get the urge anytime i see the mushy 1to3' waves but don't have boards anymore, probably need at least a fun shape.i watched a couple of guys out here  now and then . they really suck but they look like there having fun. does anyone know a local shaper

I think you'd be better off just buying online or the next time your near the ocean. I got a board in Florida but didn't bring it up to Rochester since I have never seen anything I could ride here, then again, I havn't really loooked I suppose.

I did some kite boarding here but I'm still very new at that so it was more like being dragged around with a board leashed to my leg.
