Northern Maine

Does anyone know of any surf spots in Northern Maine, like North of Portland. I know of a few from one book I have but I was thinking of chartering a boat and going to check it out. Has anyone heard any rumors of killer waves up in Northern Maine? Im hoping to find a new pipeline up there.

We are 2 surfers from Quebec, Canada. If you are looking for people to charter a boat , let us know. I could  also do a photo coverage for Naphte Magazine.

Go just north of Maine to Prince Edward Island and the water is warmer in the summer than in Maine (i dont know why but it is) and you can get some great surf on the easten side. Nothing pipeline sized but its not uncommon to see chest high

If you know where to look there's geeat surfing.  Try Popam beach or reid state park near bath, also try small point- all are on the same road. access is hard as all are private property.  there is also a break called Dumps which is located across from an abandoned church on the road- hint look for two stone driveway markers- good in the spring and fall- again tread lightly as loclas will tow cars.  Further north supposedly there are spots in Acadia natl park. or try Nova scotia. Give me a shout if you need more info.
