LEAVING JACO COSTA RICA NEXT WEEK ,HIT NICARAGUA FOR A FEW DAYS AND SURF AND SINCE THE BUS GOES THRU SAN SALVAOR I THOUGHT I MAY GET OFF AND SURF I 'M HEARING LOT'S OF NEGATIVE STUFF.IS THERE SOME PLACE CHEAP(UNDER 10$) I CAN STAY?I'M GOING TICO BUS ALL THE WAY BACK TO TEXAS AND LIKE TO SURF THE SHIT OUT OF EL SALVADOR ON MY WAY THRU... SINCE IM BUSING FROM COSTA RICA THRUTILL MEXICO TEXAS AND THE BUS STOPS THERE I THOUGHT ABOUT SURFING THERE BUT FROM WHAT I HEAR AND SEE I MAY NOT EVEN WANT TO BOTHER GETTING OFF THE DAMN BUS.IS THERE ANY SAFE AND CHEAP PLACE TO STAY I'M MAKLING ACROSS THE THIRD WORLD ON ABOUT$500 HALF OF THAT GET GOBBLED UP ON BUSES AND BORDER CROSSING.STILL LIKE TO SURF EL SALVADOR BUT LOOKS LIKE LA LIBERTAD IS A HOT SPOT FOR TROUBLE. i'll be there from july 1 - july 30 from so cal. Free-styling most of the time and a visit to grandparents. Can anyone suggest a beach hostels in La Libertad or wild east?

travel tip: don't walk around with fancy watches and cameras. this goes for Vegas, Chicago etc. in the less dev areas.
i lived two steps from La Paz beach just a half K from the Point. for five months i watched as though People from CA and FL thought they were still in the U.S. the euros did not have issues, only the yanks did. the aussies did not have issues, the yanks did.
just wise up a bit and understand that if a crack head comes up to you he will not harass you but to ask for a couple of coins etc for food. oblige. you are in their hood and surfing on waves they used to enjoy until they were swallowed by the economy/war/loss of parents/curve ball in life.
be human and surf with a good heart. there are plenty of waves for all.

Hello Elizabeth. My name is patrick I'm with Adriana. We are going to San Salvador for chiropractic mission abroad. We would like to surf our last day on June 21st. Our plain leaves on june21 at2 :50pm. Been reading your letters to other surfers. We were wondering if you could help us out as a tour guide for our first ever surfing trip.

Sleep overnight at beach then early morning surf session and back to San Salvador for 2:50pm plain be an epic trip. Been reading your letters to other surfers.
