I hate London, I came here because I met my girlfriend in Australia and she is English. I feel I am loosing my soul here. Grey all the time no waves and hard to meet cool people outside of the water.

Why are people complaining.
If you are that into surfing, move out of London,
if not give up and play tennis or something like that more suited to lilly livered Londonites.

The financial rewards balanced with lifestyle arent that great with the sacrifice to have to live there.

I would personally be single and near the sea than have to follow a girlfreind around wherever she wants to work.

Ive been to quite a lot of cities in the world and I live in the UK. I agree London does not compare to many and also it does smell badly of fumes, underground diesel etc.

Also, if you are the kind of person who likes their high paid job in London and just like to be a Sunday warrior in Cornwall.

For the sake of everyone, take up another sport, ie sailing.
