Unfortunately not. There was a massive southerly swell from Florence but the barrier reef does not produce a breaking surfable wave. Was able to surf the point on Windsor Beach on Tue high tide in an offshore wind, but this is essentially surfing the shore break so you are talking about 1 to 2 foot waves breaking in waist deep water. Nice to be in the water but not exactly epic. Next plan is get a boat and try North Rock in a Northerly swell pattern. We've still got Gordon and Helene to come.

Hey, Anyone interested in buying a wetsuit?I actually have a few for sale!  I have two 3 mm fullsuits. Both are used but in good condition. one is a size small and the other is a medium. Oneil is the brand. Feel free to call me at 735-7346 and we could negotiate a fair price.

By the way we had some fun head high- overhead surf due to hurricane Issac. Wasn't epic but for BDA standards was hella fun! Know where to go and when and you'll be rewarded!

moving to bermuda next week and will be looking to get some waves in asap. what are the chances? dr evil you seem to be the wise man on the island, are there truly only waist high shore breaks out there? surely there must be a good reef break somewhere? no 500m points breaking right to the shore?i am praying that 10-12 surfable days was a load of bollocks. i will probably want to pick up a mini mal or long board if anyone wants to offload as well.
