RE: Anyone want to Start a Toronto-based surf Club?

Like many of you, I'm a surfer trapped inland. Just grabbed a paddle board and have been doing some of that down by the Cherry (Tree) Beach. I'm in on a surf club, I only read the first 10 replies, so maybe it is already up and running and you just want another member, in which case, here I am.
Now what? Let me know.
Thanks,
Paul

Great Idea !  I grew up in Toronto and now
live in a great surf city in Southern California
called San Clemente.  I'm back in Toronto a
few times a year and always thought about surfing
in Lake Ontario.  Now I know I can.

I'm in!

Fred nice` for small-glassy-empty-wave-barrel-shots, but useless for surfing.

I am sure you don't think this is where i intend to stop,.. do you ? ha ha

we are now working on a 1.5 meter version that will have 2,(yes 2) 45 metre reefs.
This reef design has two really impressive features; all wipeouts, occur in deep water      [ that while riding a hollow wave is a first ] and we are getting 75% wave reformation, which means that we can put in another reef further down the pool (15 m ) and have a smaller wave, (1.1 m ), 'adjusted' not so hollow, 'adjusted' with a slower peel, easy for learners.
And so we are creating affordable cost effective surfing
When we build a 2 meter wave-pool there will be 4 reefs for the one wave.

p.s. i copied a natural occurrence in nature to get these results.
