your suit sounds fine! it'll be chilly but you'll warm up in no time. if you want head to long beach surf shop and tell ralph the guy that owns the place to rent you some gear for free...tell him emily sent you. anyways as for conditions check out magicseaweed.com....it's a pretty good site. have fun out there!!

4/3 is fine, Vancouver Island gets even hotter as july, august rolls by... i didn't even need booties. The eastcoast is 5000x colder.

these west coast surfers are almost as bada as the lake surfers with their whining! dont tell everyone how good it is, ouw waves are getting crowded enough as it is!
