I'm up for taking some lessons around the Toronto area, i'm a beginner, if there is any surf out here and you might be up for giving some 'decent' lessons (and can also provide all the equipment) please get a hold of me, my emails mark dot requena at gmail dot com!

Wow... I've been surfing down south for a while now, and actually locally. This is my first time going through some of these posts. You guys are tools. WTF. Surfing's about who's having the most fun and actually going out and riding waves... not this bullshit banter. I'm assuming its small-dik syndrome. Gooks.
Anyway. Check out Surf Ontario. They have a shop in Toronto and they also do lessons. Hope to see you out there... and the rest of you. Leave the attitude at home.
