if you are looking for uncrowd beachs you should go to El Salvador, to surf in El Salvador you need a guide and a car and the tour operator company are to expensive. for 450 us$ for a week, you can get accomotation in a private house, with pool, air aconditioner, kitchen, tv, camara to make your own trip video, access to private beaches, unlimited transportation to all the best surf spots, youll feel like in your own home, for more information, and pictures fer5nando@hotmail.com

i've never surfed before and was looking for a good spot for a one or two week surf camp in july. costa rica sounds like a good spot with a few different camps but i don't know if anything will be happening in july (i know it's the wet season). if not costa rica, if anybody has any ideas, i'd appreciate it.

I have done Witches Rock Surf Camp two times.  It is perfect for the solo traveller or pair of travelers.  They advertise on this site.  I surfed so much with them, and their guides are really cool and show you great breaks, plus their damn good surfers.  And the food at the camp (bar) is pretty good.

I will be going solo to CR on May 20th to the 25th and interested in renting a car and drive between Jaco and up North.  I am a goofyfooter and ride a funboard.

Let me know as we can share expenses and surf vibes

Hi

Going to be in Costa Rica from May 1st to June 9th. Thinking of joining a surf camp for a week then hopefully buying a board and surfing a number of spots along the Pacific coast. If anyone is around and interested in renting a 4X4, sharing accomodation etc send me an email. Cheers
