that guy mike is funny.  anyways, i have heard of a shark attack near corcovado, and large tiger sharks have been spotted in the matapalo area, but all in all, costa rica is much safer than here in the san francisco

I know you both and your both out to lunch. The scorpions & snakes are more likely to get you before the sharks ever will.

Suggestion : if you want to get eaten so badly by a shark why don't you just go swimming at sunset with your dog.

Hey Jeff!

My husband and I will be visiting the Guanacaste area for 5 nights arriving August 15th. He's an avid diver and I'm an avid lounger. Any recommendations of an awesome resort with a good, convenient  dive shop nearby?  We're in our thirties, no kids, would love a suite/villa (i.e. more space) set up close enough to walk/taxi to a little town with some kick back bar/restaurant options.  We're not on a tight budget but are trying to avoid huge family oriented all inclusive resorts. Any ideas?

Nicole
