RE: Calling any surfers going to Dominican Republic!« on: November 28 2007 13:11:00 »
Heading to Punta Cana with the wife on Friday for a week.(11/30/07 until -12/07/07)
Seeking to surf with other surfers if possible to keep eye out for safety, sharks, etc. Have heard that Playa Macao is the place to surf, so would like to share taxi expenses from Punta Cana, if possible. Bringing my own board.
Email me ASAP at firstname.lastname@example.org if possible, as we leave TOMORROW. Thanks, and hope to catch some waves there soon!

Hi, we are thinking to go to cabarete for 2 weeks very early january and would like to know, what we can expect? Heard that it's a very busy period. Is Cabarete strongly effected or is it still quite a relaxed atmosphere and you can enjoy the beach without stepping on each others toes. Thanks Daniel

Yes it's the busiest time of the year, but you can still enjoy a nice Caribbean surf without getting any hassle, if you are respectful to the other surfers though.

The locals get a bit territorial at times, they bark more than they bite though

If you surf here, don't live here; no jobs, bad water, Tom is love slave to the king!
