I am going to El Salvador in August 10 to the 19th. Will travel with 1 friend from LA but would love to know more about El Salvador if you know. Also, we could travel together if you like.

hey, why are all these posts so old? In keeping with the theme of the other posts, I'm headed down in early March 2008. I'm just making plans, so I can use info on where to stay close to surf near La Libertad for a few people. How's the don Lito hotel? Can you just fly into San Salavador, flag down a van and get a ride into La Libertad? How long does the drive take?

I aswell am hitting El Salvador for some surfing in the next 6-8 months for a solid few months of pleasure, my question, are the breaks ok for a beginner surfer, granted I expect to improve quickly with weeks of practise Secondly are there places in El salvador where you can get boards or do you needa bring em with you?

Sunzal Camping is a new option in front of the beach, providing transportation and surf tours for low budget travelers

At Suzal Camping you can find cheap rooms in a nice location, lowbudget transportation, and Sunzal beach is more private, but still close to everything you need, good waves, bars, restaurants, stores. you can visit the website www.elsalvadorsurfcamps.com
