Hey Jenny, Cornwall is probably going to be the place. Newquay can get really crowded and is a bit stag/hen party central so unless you're there out of season head further west to the Hayle, St Ives and Penzance area. There's a Conrwall based company called globalboarders.com who do surfaris all year round with accommodation and I think meals and other extras all available as well. Penzance is 5 hours by train from London Paddington or Newquay is 1 hour's flight from Gatwick and you can get a bus or hire a car to drive the remaining 40 miles west.

Go to Newquay for sure. i spent last UK summer there and it was unreal. Good for work too.
A mate I get back there in 1 week (mid june) then wwe're surfing down the coast to Spain.

bournemouth of course!! kidding! nah its alright but avon is where its all happenin! not many people go their but if you can get it right you can have a 40second ride on a log from 3rd sanbar, through the bouys and up to 1st sandbar!best at about 8 in the eve onwards!
