Last week, I was watchin Bret Michaels, 'Rock of Love'; he was cruisin PCH with some Laguna drag queen on the back of his Harley; I watched in amazement at the flawless wave encapsulating the rider in the Background; the place is called Seco's, but it should really be called 'sickos'. I hope 'I love New York' can have a surfer shoreline skit!

Wow !!!  You must have the 6th sense or something because you were pretty much right on the button with my past.  It wasn't a trailor that I lived in though. It was a motor home in Mexico.  My father was Japanese and my mother Chinese. But.. I think I have 2 fathers that I don't know about because I'm Mohickan and black.  My church group kicked me out because I thought that  M. Jackson was God. And I don't surf, But I pose like one.  I litter the beaches as much as possible and I throw my beer cans and bottles in the ocean. I don't believe in going Green, because I want water front property where I live right now. I'm 80 miles from the ocean and I figure in 30 yrs, If the warming affect isn't stopped, The ocean will be 15 miles away.

Dear Blink 182 poser, your rantings are not relevant to the serious question posed by our Nobel Peace prize recipient. Your forum should be Rush Limbaugh and Clear Channel. Please don't waste valueable cyberspace! Why not go to San Francisco and help bag up oiled shorebirds? A 'matter of style' will always be in the message.

Serious ?

So you want me to be serious ?  O.K.  Basically as the Iceburgs melt, the Coastlines will change due to rising water, Hurricanes will become stronger,  The gulf stream will either move farther out to sea, or the Fresh water from the burgs will sink it and we will head into the next ice age due to climate change.
Or....  The warming affect will heat the earth to the point where Agriculture will totally change. Due to fires, drought, or Depending if the European bee collapsing order continues and the African bees track further north, Our crops are screwed and society will suffer. Unless.... We find an alternitive to gas or oil, We will only add to the earths demise.
Any questions ?

What about the supervolcano in Jellystone park?

Or the sky falling on our heads?

It certainly is a good time for the neo puritans.

I guess after the coming appocolypse the surfspots will be less crowded. Got to look at it in a positive light.

Dear global surfers- This wannabe creationist, TOM, rhymes with DUM obviously flunked Bio. 101- Nature creates nothing; it just is...and, if that happens to be cross-pollination, or sub-species mating, then voila! There we are- A diversity of bipedal mopheads smoking our way to extinction. Solitary bees have always been dominant and they will be again after the 'Africanized' are gone. A slightly white Aryan perspective was kackled by Tom; would he lament a barrel on an artificial slab? And, if all insects die, well no plants, no stability, sand blows into line-up- Yea- Cape St. Francais's, even in Joisey!

Tom, you are a the kind of sensationalist that gives people concerned with the environment a bad name.

I also think its all largely hypocritical, do you really think you think twice for that long drive to get to the best surf break that is going off? Then take your germs into the sea?

Your carbon footprint is probably larger than those greedy business types who often commute on a train to work.

Your rantings about climate change will encourage tidal wave paltforms in the best surfareas in the world that will reduce your surf, so be careful what you preach and try to be more well read.

Idea 4- you are the insightful ,eclectic soothsayer that Tommy boy only aspires to be and should be my running mate! Before my recognition as premier ecologist in the world, I'd take my family boogie-boarding at Casino Pier and Sea Girt; clean, green, and mean, ask Randazzo! Rants about pollination and bees, bees- me thinks Tom needs a sesh' not with Trestles, but Dr. Laura, wheeeeew!

Tom,  The question was about the surfing challenges due to the climate change, and your off on some stupid bee conversation that has nothing to do about surfing.  That and the fact, Nobody takes you serious anymore because of you making up names in the past to get attention.  Fact is youbring all of these insults on to you.   Has it ever accured to youto not post to avoid being insulted ?
