I was surfing at Mauntacx point in April of 97. Surf was breaking 6-7 feet. I caught this wave and some grommet decides he can snake me and bashes right into me. 4 stiches and a mild concussion.

My worst wipe out was on broken heads, NSW. Waves were about 1,5 overhead and leashed snapped.
Long swim in with some rips, not pleasant.

It wasn't MY wipeout, but it scared the living sh*t out of me. I and some surf buds had just moved to Hawaii for a winter of surf, found a house on Sunset Point and were hanging with our new roommates when one of them came in from surfing Backyards, all cut up and scraped, he had lost his board and decided to bodysurf the next wave in. He didn't realize he was going over the most shallow part of the reef and ran into some coralheads on his way in to shore. We were freaking out, our first day on the North Shore and we witnessed this! It was very scarey, we had no idea what to expect. We were some real pussies that day. We learned better.

That would be nice to rid this forum of all the sarcasm and ruthless A-holes out here wouldn't it ? But then Blitz, Hoobastank, TTb, teacher 43, and the one loser that everyone LOATHES........Tom, wouldn't have anything to do.

You see Cajun Masturbator, I need an outlet after an intense barrel fest because of my extensive travels with the D.O.D. It's funny to see the derelicts that hit this forum, most I'm sure have never seen ocean's womb. It seems that North American surfers are wallowing in the very pollution they created and exported (I wouldn't surf south of Santa Barbara or Rhode Island because of constant toxicity) and it's affected their minds! Worst wipeout: 1973, alone at sunset during light snowstorm at solid 6' Monahan's Dock; went over the falls backward and wetsuit pulled over my head in 30 degree water; had to paddle beyond rip down to Gansett' State Beach with moderate hypothermia, and never saw my G&S 6'6" Summerfish again!
