go to bali soon.. might still be some cheap flights on lion air, 2 hour flight.  i hear they're discontinuing though, but don't know when, so hurry up.  places to stay in bali are super cheap too

other than that, gotta wait a few months for the monsoon to hit.  there's waves in malaysia.  desaru is just a ferry ride + a car ride away (bout 1.5-2 hours, depending on where you live in sg).  a few spots in that area.  cherating is pretty awesome but it's 7 hours bus ride.

Hey all.... you may wanna check alternative surf site like Padang, Sumatra.
Nice beach break, surf all day, wave height from 2.5ft to 4ft.

In terms of distance the following is only 120km from singapore. BONO ON THE KAMPAR RIVER, THE LONGEST SURFING WAVE

I recomend Uluwatu Bali and stay at blue point villas. right beside the paddle out access cave.

The only 1ft wave i have seen in singapore is when a cargo ship goes past.

BALI, BALI, BALI

As a matter of fact, Singapore is where people fly to for their Bali visa runs.
