David starts drinking bintang at about 11am each day from his hammock, there is an island near by with world class waves, but he is to fat and useless to organise a boat or a local to take you there. the place is beautiful beyond belief, the local waves are fickle. he is a dirty old man that sleeps with the young local girls there, he told me he watches porn with them... really. martins camp is VERY basic, the waves are good but its turns onshore each day around 11am the road to get there is a nightmare

David and Martins tarimbang waves are way more wind protectives than windy island ,island is super windy most of time and actually far, cruised with charter boat along coast couple year ago.tarimbang and nihiwatu were best that time and some spot more west.

yeah ive been to marthens a few times but never again. i got so mauled by fleas and bedbugs and whatever else there was in that little hut. i left after 3 days of no sleep. foods pretty bloody average too. Mr Davids is pretty nice in comparison . but i think he's trying to promote it more as an offshore fishing camp now

What a joke all you guys are....sumba is a very remote place and does have great the right time of year...most of you wouldn't recognise a good wave is it stood up and broke on your head..Dave is dead and he was a great and mostly harmless character..Better is most of you stay in Bali where its all western anyway and complain about that.
