Am off to Mauritius finally. Been a while in the planning and work is sending me over for a week and am able to take my boards over for a wave or few.
Has the surf been ok for I am coming over 25th Nov and leave 2 Dec. Be cool to catch up with some locals to surf the waves with. Local knowledge always helps and also good to have a beer or two with afterwards to chat about the spoils of a great surf session. Hope to hear from some mauritian crew soon.

Oh this sounds sooooooo sweat!
BUT I WANT AN HAWAIIAN!
Stop being so correction - you all want perfect waves, flawless
boring predictable waves, metaphorically speaking Kooks.
No 2 waves at The Pipe are the same, no two surfers at the Pipe are the same. But you all want predictability!!!
Even Teahupoo is prerdicatbale..........KOOKS!!!!.
YOU ARE SO BORING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If I was a kook then I wouldn't have been a sponsored surfer in my time. I am polite because it's my nature and most mauritians I have entertained here in WA are exactly the same - polite, party people and some are exceptional surfers.
True no wave is the same but the knowledge of seasonal surf and local knowledge is always on everyones mine to be in the know. How do you think surf competitions are planned bro. Anyway I do hope we get to meet and surf it out in fun bro and be able to shake hands and share a beer or few.
I've met the blackshorts of Hawaii and the blackshorts of Raglan NZ - both just as scarey physically but excellent guys when you get to know them. I hope you may be just the same.
See you in the surf.
