RE: Surf Morocco in December?

Dear i haven't visited the place you are talking about but i have the knowledge about the place you are asking. See the Month of December is quiet well as this is the period with pleasant waves. So you should visit the place.

RE: Surf Morocco in December?

Hi Alex!

I have some remaining holidays this year and was planning on going to Agadir region as well. I have never been and will travel by myself so would be great to hook up. I am looking at flights now, Dec 2-6 or so. Everyone says the waves are a dream and picturesque fisher villages.

Cheers, Verena

RE: Surf Morocco in December?

The best time to go is between December- February. But I wouldn't recommend going in December this time it will be packed with surfers but also holiday surfers.

If you like to have a bit of a buzz Taghazout is a good place, but there are towns north and south of Taghazout with less noise and crowds. If you really want to surf Morocco also check out the less famous places like Imsouane and Safi. They are still a bit "secret" with less people in the water and really good waves as well.

I found some cool surfcamps on this site https://www.surferdream.com and here https://iseeocean.com/surfcamps/morocco/

Hope this helps,
Ryan
