Yeah Aldo's right on the money, Masachapa is closer to Montelimar than Card's, and the "Pajaroa" brother's are all Nicaraguan and could use the $, they got boards and can give you lessons.

MONTELIMAR DOESN'T RENT BORD ANYMORE SINCE DEC. 2007.
I’m just coming back from Montelimar Resort and they discontinued their surfboard service. Decision has been taken after couple injuries from the local people, last year. They still keep boogie boards for resort’s clients.
Massachapa village located near (couple kilometres from) Montelimar have all facilities and good teachers can be found at the local surfing club.

My wife and I when back to motelimar for one month (March 2009) and for the first time in 7 years we had waves from 5 to 6 meters. Due to sea storms last December that re-shape the button of the ocean its becoming a great place for surf and expert boogie guys.
