Just my 2c worth, but this is a pretty risky investment, in my opinion.
That area Orlando is talking about has at least a dozen abandoned surf cabins that are falling apart and overgrown. It looks like many people have tried to make a success of it and lost their money. I don't know why, because the location is amazing and the wave is sick. Anyway - just wanted to let you know my experience of Santa Catalina.

I was in Santa Catalina years ago, too basic and far away from the airport to do any business with a decent ROI if you ask me, that's besides all the land title fights that go on there.
