RE: Any guide, surf camp in samar?

Hi Kevin,
Are you the paddle for peace guy. I'm originally from Noosa and a friend of Anthony. If you want to catch up, I can tell you all about Samar. Great waves and its as safe as houses. Best time is after August. My cell # is- +639053573265. Can tell you about other places here that have never been surfed except my me.

RE: Any guide, surf camp in samar?

I've surfed around Eastern Samar and Omawas Beach and there are excellent uncrowded waves durning Typhoon season (Aug-Oct.).  There isn't much around there, but there is an American guy who recently started up surf camp with nice, inexpensive accommodations--he even rents boards pretty cheap in case you are just passing through and maybe want to learn to surf.  Check it out at http://www.surfomawas.com/Surf_Omawas/Surf_Omawas.html
