Look all, we're not trying to destroy competition. We are only trying to make information on quality surf schools available. In fact, if you wish to learn in La Union, you can contact Luke 0915-8412188, or Kage 0917-5292627. And if you wish to learn in Baler, there is the Mahdox surf school. You can contact Donna 0917-4860996. At least with these guys, we can vouch that they're honest and not out there to scam you. Plus they are the best in their areas.

I am Paolo's friend and i'm here not only to help him but also to help the industry as a whole. I only want to make sure that people get proper instruction and a fair deal. I've been coaching for 18 years in Australia and I'm doing my best to make sure that the Philippine surfing industry doesn't get a bad name through dubious operators. In Australia, surf schools have the same problem but the good and honest ones help each other. And i'm sure paolo, luke, and the others will be doing the same in the very near future.

daryll, if you're trying to help philippine surfing industry, why do you pretend that you are a third party and praise your own surf school? you also pretend to hook up readers with your "friend" paolo who is actually your partner? why do you say in one thread that "they have an aussie coach" when you are the aussie coach? why the pretense if your intentions are noble?

This all started from some girl getting ripped off by some guy. I offered the same girl a free trip with my friend Paolo, which yes i do help him and have shown him how to set up what he has now. I am by no means his partner. On top off that, i have never received any money from helping him. Its all about having fun 4 me. And I did accredit Paolo myself in Bali last week with 25 other coaches from Rip curl, Odysseys and Wave rider's surf schools. So please quit it with all the crab mentality and get on with having fun.

I'm heading off the Philippines on the 17th of June and after having 3 or 4 surfing sessions in Bali and Lombok, I'm hoping to have a month of learning how to surf with other people - is anyone here up for touring round the islands?
Also - if anyone can recommend the best places to go for a beginner which is cheap, cheerful and has a decent (but not too crowded) nightlife then please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
