Second hand boardshops« on: July 22 2015 05:07:00 »
My friend and I are going surfing near porto this august. We are new in surfing and curious if we could find boards to bring back home. Is there second hand shops in Porto/Lisbon with used surfboards, and what would a cheap “fish” board approximately cost?
The best waves

Can you give your advice on whether it is a good idea going to Portugal at AUTUMN for beginners?
I know there are quite big waves in September and October and it might not be ideal for first timers but do you think it would be enjoyable? Could we get some sense of achievement?
We are thinking about going to the area of Sintra, Ericeira or Peniche.
What would you suggest?

We are Pura Vida Beach Hostel, located in Praia da Areia Branca, near Peniche, well known for surfing. It's less than one our from the Lisbon airport, and super easy and cheap to arrive by bus.
We can provide you surf lessons with a school, check our website www.puravidabeachhostel.com and if you're interested you can contact us firstname.lastname@example.org
