Hi Adam,
Id say the earlier the better, by August things can die here especially if youve got 2 weeks only.
You might get some early autum swell though if your lucky.

Your best bet it NW north shore and outer hebrides, thats where it picks up summer swells mostly.


Your suit should be ok, just keep paddling keeps you warm!
