I can see your point.  Just stick the webcams at thoses places that every1 knows about that do get crowded dont think it would make to much difference, however leave alone those secret reef beaks or sand bars that the mainstream dont know about.  What I find is that if 1 place is working nice it can be likley that 1 of your more out of the way spots is working that does not have a webcam and isnt crowded (usually!)

if we have to have webcambs then maybe only at the busy main beaches,there full of surf fashion  bic bandits mostly!! but definetly no cams on the good quieter breaks.lets hope and prey this recent media hype on surfing only lasts for fifteen minutes!!otherwise its going to be oh so busy and full of egos!rant over!
