Hiya i have my own car and gear as well, maybe we can organise a camping  trip on here up north to thurso?  would be a  great way to end the summer!

hi guys iv got my own transport and wetsuit need a board 7.6 minimal ( not good enough 2 step down yet not long though lol) i know a surfer that stays in thurso she could show us a few local secrets spots probably. anyway im more than willing 2 go surfing everywhere in scotland i just obviously need a loan of a board.  get intouch cheers

ALRIGHT WEEGIE I WAS PLANNING ON GOING UP NORTH THIS SUNDAY (CAUSE IV GOT THE WEEK OFF) ONLY PROBLEM IS I DONT HAVE A BOARD ANYMORE DO U HAV ANY SPARE BOARDS MATE?

sorry mate, only got the two I always carry with me, a 6' 10 fish and my mal for those smaller wavies.  You would be able to hire from either the two shops in Thurso though if thats any help

alright weegie cheers 4 the info but i aint gonna hire a board i think il just use my money and buy a new board from steve at st vedas (coldingham) surfshop he has some tasty new1s in i just found out looked at them on the net look really good
where do u usually surf mate ?

hi anyone off out today?
new to up here im from south west wales
ive been dry now for nearly 18 months and need to et my feet wet before next weekend as im going up north can anyone recomend a good refresher spot and do you guys have any weather boys up here to get conditions from?

if u go 2 magic seaweed.com u can get all the swell charts and wave bouey    u can surf most places on the east coast just type in scottish surf spots and u will get some local 1s ok

no probs Boab - sorry I couldn't help you out.  Chart looks no bad for the North coast this week, shuld get some nice wavies!!!  I live in Glasgow so the East coast is my regular spot.  Also have family in Dundee so the spots surf the spots around there when I'm up that way and there's a swell running.
