Hey,
I'm in the same position as you, pretty new to it but completely addicted!
I have no transport so cant get to the beach alone.
If you still want a surfing buddy i'd love to join you?

RE: Surf buddy NEEDED!

Hey you two blokes, I'm coming from Australia (Torquay, Bells Beach) to surf all up the west coast-Portugal, spain, france etc....
I want to surf anywhere and everywhere, I'll be bringing a thick wetsuit so I can surf england, ireland and Scotland. Then when I reach the cold shores of the beautiful nordic countries I will even be surfing there where ever i can (probably north of Norway).

I start my surf travels in the warm waters of Sumatra (indonesia) and then over months of travel will end up in some cold northen county's of Europe to roads less traveled for a surfer, but that will be the fun part ;-)

Maybe ill see you fella's out in the water at some stage and ill give you a few tips on how the Aussie lads tear the bags out of liquid cylinders.

Cheers knackers.

RE: Surf buddy NEEDED!

I took a travelling Scot surfer to Noosa yrs ago when I lived at Coolum. Had a great day with him and I scored a tube what he got off at seeing at National Park Noosa.
We have a Scotts Head at NSW and I used to live there and thought it would be so cool to have some sort of tartan kilt with a surfing theme for the clan man.
Must be so amazing surfing some scot breaks and to play the bagpipes and surf would be so unreal. I played a blues harp when on a good wave once at Ti Tree Bay.
So inspiring.    Aloha
