HI, arrived in The Gambia a few days ago and will be staying here until september-maybe longer. As I'm here for working, I didn't have the time to look around& go surfing. But I'm sure there are some good breaks around. You can find some boards +-OK at the hotels. I'll bring over my boards if I settle down here.
Advise when you are here, I'll have it checked out by then!

I live in The Gambia and would be happy to help with anyadvie re: breaks and othe loal knowledge.
Okay, I'll admit it. I am a sponger. There that's out of the way.
Today the mighty Atlantic is quite flat. I was out for a swim just before high tide this morining and nothing happening. It felt like there is a swell coming in over the next couple of days.
I was at Brufut, Cape Point and Senegambia Beaches.
Anyone in Dakar can tell me the cost of a decent 42-43in board and xl fins? I was there last week but did not have the time to shop. Also, more info on the breaks in an around would be great.
