man i hear you guys,ime in scotland at the moment and i miss j-bay so much.The folks are chilled out,no worries.The old school boys are a bit mean lokin but its just to scare of valies.Can give favourite surf but jeffreys is surf so i cant pick a spot,jeffreys is my favorite...shandez

i plan on a surp trip with my wife and baby on september 2005. hows the crowd in that month.

I'll be in J-Bay in early January, right after New Year's Eve.

Can anybody tell me what the conditions are like there at that time of year?

People must just chill out about localism.  The ocean is for everybody!  Especially since we are its guests.  Only takes a shark attack to bring that back into perspective. Peace

I have to agree !!!  The ocean was here before we were.  Can't we all just respect each other as human beings and respect our imperfections.  We see a nice wave and our surf stoke takes over. Maybe it's selfishness not to look, but when yousee a beautiful glassy tube peeling and a long face with it..  You Can't help it.

Hey Vic Franko, We will be there also at that time.. it may be onshore as the predominant wind is South East at that time...but I saw Andy, Bruce Irons, Kelly and the others all surfing Jbay in July in horrible onshore conditions prior to the Billabong contest this year. If they can do it - I can as well. Hope we meet each other and have a laugh? How will we be able to recognize you? I will be with my son in the water... ? Mail me if you want to .......
