RE: barcelona surf

yes, in winter there's a begining course in Mongat, but it only takes some weekends. On the other hand, in summer there are anywaves in barcelona, ecxept some specially days. If you want to surf good waves highest than a meter you should wait... or travel to the north of spain.

RE: barcelona surf

there's more then people think. Basically whenever you get any swell, it breaks in several places. I lived in Andorra for four years, and surfed Barcelona regualarly. Head to Montgat, it's more of a magnet then most. I've surfed up to 6ft+ near the port there. It's actually not that bad. Better in winter then summer, but you can get a fair bit of swell around september. The best thing is that even though it gets crowded, you still get heaps of waves cause most people are learning. So there's enough to go around...good luck.

RE: barcelona surf

I will be in Barcenlona 1-9th July. I would like to learn some surfing. It seems there is no school during summer. Is there any surfer willing to give me some lessons? (I will pay for lessons of course).
