The guy goes by the name Pink? I think I was in electroshock with that guy! Maybe the purple board was really the purple haze and maybe the pink dots were a little Floyd mixed in. Who knows. Anyway, I'm over this post...time to go to surf therapy.

EZ. Depends on where you wanna live, or, can afford, and/or commute.
La Jolla, Huntington, South Bay...never worked but great surf&babes
Venice, Santa Monica great place 2 live...but crowded w/ tourists.
I worked SM, topanga, malibu, zuma
4 more surf n babes: Topanga, Malibu, Zuma.
I'd probably pick Malibu for surf and no rescues...if you like rescues SM or ZUMA.
Topanga ok surf, laid back but Malibu & Topanga spots are taken already. Maybe can sneak in after a few years at ZUMA or SM
Hope yer world class swimmer, or paddler, doryman cause stiff competition 4 limited # of jobs, esp 4 permanent position.

BTW...4 best nightlife...Santa Monica or Venice or South Bay...inland affordable, near Westwood, Culver City, Hollywood if that's your scene and less of commute to beach. Malibu further out so more commute and only fair to zero nightlife. Might consider living in SF Valley and commute to Malibu, Zuma. You'll most likely have to work Zuma or SM or Venice if you go L.A. County.
I don;t about nightlife in La Jolla, but HB not bad....affordable? Don't know.
