I used to be a Gulfster for 4 years, but recently moved to Jax. Before being a Gulfster I used to live in Ft.Lauderdale. I enjoyed it. I usually surfed Reef Road or Deerfield...pretty good. However, the others are right...the Inlet is sick and there's no competition! Jax has been okay, I do enjoy the small stuff because I just had ACL knee surgery.it's not too bad...but remember this is coming from an ex Gulfster desperate 4 waves =>.

dont bother coming as far down south as ft. lauderdale. theres not much surf there, because the islands of the bahamas block all of the swell. (i live in Ft. lauderdale) YOu need to be somewhere north of stuart. St. augustine and Jacksonville both have a pretty good surfing community and decently consistent waves.
