Hi everyone, so I will be in Vietnam staying in HCMC for about two months, are there any local beaches with any waves or are the waves mainly in Da Nang? I've been in Hong Kong and still am right now and the ways have been on and off at Big Wave bay, Tai Long Wan and good at Octopus reef, just want to keep surfing something while Im on my business travels. Let me know, would be greatly appreciated, Late.

Hey Dan. If you're still in HCMC send me an email at stevensorama@gmail.com. I live in Vung Tau, just down the river from you and the surf has been decent here lately. As long as the storms keep up we should have swell for a while. It's only an hour and a half from you by ferry.

Yes, guys! We have a nice surfing-station in Vung-Tau. You can rent surf boards, kites and windsurf for reasonable price. Look for "Vung-Tau beach club" opposite Sami hotel at the back beach
