RE: Bond Uni Vs. Griffith Uni - study abroad« on: May 13 2007 01:05:00 »
Hi, I go to Bond (well in the time that im not carving up the surf at one of the many awesome beaches we have on the coast), what can i say but i luv uni life! I drive a black 2007 Z3 convertible roadster (to uni that is, it fits in with all the other shiny cars) and when I go to the beach I take my Jeep Wrangler! Bond is like so much better than Griffith, I mean I don’t like have to do any work and they give me my degree.. Its awesome, its like living the OC lifestyle on the GC!

Oh and i like forgot to mention in my previous post:
The surf is awesome, Bond is not too far away about 20mins drive, but when ur in the Jeep with the stereo pumping its worth it! And the hotties on our beaches, we’ve got all the hot surfers here!!
When im not surfing or “studying” I luv to hit the nitelife of Surfers. Bond has so many organised niteouts, its fantastic, we all go and like get drunk together! Totally love’n it!
Anyway there is no choice but Bond, I mean all u need to do is like get your parents to pay and your on your way, I mean what is there slogan “Think Bond, think total awesomeness”!!
P.s- does anyone like watch Laguna Beach? Its like totally awesome

Get a f*****g life!!! I tell you that you will fail if you think uni is parties and the good life, like on TV. It's so wrong!!! It takes time and hard work, and if you disagree with this notion, you will be one of many who fail and drop out within the first year, get real mate!!!!!!!!"
Settle down John. I managed dual degrees while having a great time. Loosen up man.

Well I can tell you right now, the Gold Coast is awesome. I just got here 3 weeks ago for my study abroad. My school wouldn't allow us to go to Bond because they said it's too easy, so I'm at Griffith. There's no on campus housing (well they just got some that opened this semester) so you find your own. I live in Surfers Paradise, literally on the beach. I only have class 3 days a week and the other 4 I'm down here so it would make no sense to travel to the beach 4 times a week instead of traveling to school 3 times a week. You don't need a car either, there are buses that run every 15-30 mins depending on time of day anywhere you wanna go, and it's cheap as hell too, half price with student ID card. I'd choose Griffith, I've met tons of awesome people and I'm living it up.

Mate i went to Griffith and it is soooo much better you really need to go there, screw the other people that are writing shit on here. Just because they are too dumb to go to uni. Griffith all the way mate, trust me on this one as the chicks are way better too, just wait for the hookers and deviate parties the uni has. Also there is a good surf club at the uni as well so you will fit in. Enjoy!
