Taylors point, just to the north of trinitybeach and south of kewarra beach..... get there on the right tide and winds, you can pick up a 2-3ft tube if your lucky....i've lived in trinity beach for 20 years....if you go here during a cyclone there is enough locals to start a surf comp here, it gets that good

YEah cairns is prime in winter, no stingers at all and the weather is perfect, its been real windy lately so there would be a wave somewhere, either on mainland or reef

break offshore, I have a boat, it's a 12ft tinny with 10hp motor, can get there. I board at Ratshit a lot but am looking for a more of consistent wave and the search is endless.

it has been pretty good at Ratshit lately, Se swell with some wind about 20-25kn, good 2-4 ft from 2pm till 5- then ramps into dumpers. Have you been out much lately. I am searching for any other breaks possible.

I've seen a head high fun beachy near Rex lookout north of cairns.
I have a pilots license and am keen to do a flight along the reef when there's swell to look for waves, if anyone is keen: l_a_willmott@yahoo.com
cheers luke

Do you need a First Officer on that tinny?
