hey SI you said brighton gets really good ?did you mean big or what ?i live here its gets goods waves but nothing like 15 foot and you wont need a jet ski thats for sure

a joke to the whole won't need a jet ski? dont worry i would prefere scotland to brighton aswell but unfortuantly untill i can drive a car to get father than witterings or brighton i dont have a choice ! so right now im basically screwed for really good surfing and i love it sooo much ! great isnt it !

Hi,
Brighton has some wave if you surf there at least you can do a bit of surfing and when you get the chance to get into bigger waves you can really get into them.

Also, its got sea so you can get really good at paddling which will get you fit for bigger waves when you get the chance to go other places.

Scotland is good but can be annoying with winds, cold etc.
Im itching to get down to Portugal this winter for warmer weather so the grass is always greener.

hey brighton can get good waves but its still a good 1 and half away from me and seeings im 14 cant drive im kinda screwed ! NO-ONE round here seems to understand how much i love surfing ! and how much im dying to go !ah well! the grass is never green where i am !

and my parents deffinatly wont drive an hour a half for me to paddle lol ! altho i guess i could get the train ?do you no how long the journey is on train?

in response to your question no there isnt big surf in the uk ,as for brighton having waves!! yeah keep dreaming,  try france or spain protugal they all have good waves and gets big in france beaches england has shit surf and its small

is that your proof that theres big surf?? a 23 second period is ok but still not great and a 18ft buoy reading reads as a 9 foot face which isnt a big wave, but you are from england so i guess this swell is a big deal, also 13ft and 8 seconds equal puss.
