I am moving to England from New Orleans. And i am pissed, but I have to do what I gotta do. I will miss my girl posse and the music here but not the Post-Hurricane Katrina climate. nonetheless, I grew up surfing Rincon Puerto Rico and now figure I can avoid central london and paying ludicrous rent for something more rural, with waves. Not scared of size, but really guaging the real threat as the cold. Insight to beach side surfing communities would be great. Any advise without getting hurled profanities especially anti-American would be ideal. We are all surfers on this site, right?

i don't get it! Why does a thread where the guy is asking for a bit of friendly advice attract a load of aggressive, racist numpties. Sort it out. British, Aussie, Outer Mongolian, Who gives a #@*%. Surfing is about having fun isn't it?

Shut up Canuck,
your country and ideas have no importance.
Go skiing in Banff or something and have fun as you hold no
diplomatic weight in this World and keep working for those
US companies who employ you.

p.s. Tim Horton's is a vile place that sells drinks and food with too much sugar that makes USA food like organic health food in comparison.
