RE: staying on Namotu Island and Tavarau?

Here's the deal. Namotu and Tavarua are beautiful island resorts. They cost millions of dollars to build and maintain. The surrounding reefs are exclusive to each island. People who are fortunate enough to stay and surf there, work hard, save up their money, and get what they pay for - an incredible vacation with amazing uncrowded waves. My suggestion to people who think this is not fair, or not in the spirit of surfing is...when you grow up, you can work hard, save your money and surf Tavarua and Namotu, just like everone else.

Just get a better job and stay on Namotu,  It's worth it!  I've been 3 times and its an great experience.  The food, surf and lack of crowds you just can't beat!
