Hi that sounds like a pretty sweet offer. I am traveling with my bro and will be in Biarritz for the 25 of september. We are stuck for a place to stay so if your offer is still available we will take it and work out some trades. I am a excellent cook......

There is a great hostel in Biarritz. Some friends and myself stayed there in september. Close to the beach, etc. I believe it was called the Palmaryian or something along those lines. It was cheap and clean. Best of luck.

For surfers the best place to stay is Fontaine Laborde, the legendary campsite just up the road from the beach at Anglet (Chambre d'Amour). It aint 5 star but it's where you'll meet the best crowd. If you want something higher spec there's a youth hostel just up the road. Either of these is better than staying in Biarritz, both in terms of waves and cost. Hope that helps - drop me a line if you need any more info. I've spent a fair chunk of time in SW France over the years!

Hi - Me & my girlfriend have been surfing quite a few times but are still pretty much beginners and are flying from London to Biarritz this Sunday for 10 days and haven't sorted any accommodation or lessons. Can anyone recommend a good surf school or place to stay? Camping later in the year so would prefer S/C or b&b or hotel. Any good bars or restaurants would also be cool! Cheers G
