there's always surf if u search & i dont mean weather/swell reports on the internet, & the water it's warm all year long here in India. The place my friends own in Pondy near Auroville Beach is "the Only Place" (that's the name of the guesthouse) ask for Shankar he is a local wave rippa he runs the place.
Cheers & catch some waves,
Roy

I was wondering if I should bother bringing my board with me on a trip to India, or if Pondicherry or surf in India is way beyond my ability.
Thanks!

Ur welcome to come surf our Break with us in Pondicherry, & the waves are mostly mellow & easily makeable & i dont think the waves r beyond anyones ability to surf. i surf them even though i am desabled, so not to worry, & ya bring a mini mal with you, they work best in these waves.
Aloha,
Roy
