Ah its not all bad news, its a gamble, but at this time of year, with the change of wind direction(season), the winds could still be light or offshore and there can even be solid swell around this time of year..if it was June, July, August then yeah it would be strong onshore for sure...you never know.

South of there needs solid swell or west swell, sorry cant say much more than that..

Is Jon the same as John..who just been there?...

Yeah its a very fickle area.....I think theres a generally rule these days with Indonesia.

"IF THERES NOT A WESTERN SURF CAMP/RESORT OR SURF CHARTER OPERATING IN AN  CERTAIN AREA THEN THE WAVES IN THAT AREA ARE FICKLE"

ECT: May get classic, but not every day/week, but only certain times of year as in wet season or on big swells.

Eddie homestay is the best place I even Stayed. I am from France travelled with my husband for three times and was working in Pulau Weh. So I always stop in that place. I am sure you will come back again once you are at Eddies Homestay.

Becareful with the taxi driver, with Rafiq , he is not a taxi driver but he just bring the passenger kind of guide, he is in The airport waiting. He tried to convince the westerns to stay other guest house or bungalows, but said to him if you want to go to Eddies Homestay. The other is Herry, he is in Harbor Ule Leu for people who travel from Pulau Weh, He has Becak  (Three wheals) but he is the same like Rafiq, tried to take you to another guest house.
I said to him no, I want to go to Eddies Homestay.

Have a good stay to you all at Eddie Homestay

Best budget accommodation in Lhokgna

I am looking to spend around $5 per night in Lhokgna and want to stay longterm (upto 60 days with visa extension) then go out and come back in again from March onwards- is there something suitable and give me their website or email address?. I would like to be close to the kitesurfing location.
