Have you checked out Rivas?  We own a casita in Rancho Santana, and the surfing around there is excellent.  If you're interested, let me know.

Just came back from Nica. Great place !! , already want to go back ! .

We stayed at El Toro Surf (www.torosurfnicaragua.com) ... great rooms / hospitality and restaurant at a great price...

Paloma and Diego are just great !

did you really need a boat to get to  the surf? I don't want to be involved with a tour guide unless I meet a cool local cat I want to hang with

If you are a non smoker i can rent you a room,at my house in Rancho Santana or my 3/2 condo directly on the beach in Iguana for 60 a night and my maid will fix you breakfeast every morning    pacificsurfhouse.com
