Tom, hahaha nice try but i don't think anyone's gonna believe that story! Where the heck did you pull that one out from? No one really started surfing here until the late 60's anyhow!
Anyways all those visiting the island who are looking for a wave to surf....get to hungry bay which is on the south shore, a great spot to start out and then from there you might find out where the classic spots are located! Have fun!

To all the locals: I might get a job at Elbow Beach Hotel. I left my board in L.A last nov. is there a shop somewhere in Bermuda?? Or should I get my board back from L.A??

JP: If you want to surf here in BDA you must bring your own board. There are no shops here that stock up on boards. You'll only find wax, boardshorts and and rashvests at Makin Waves! bring the quiver with you!

Flat with light winds: nothing rideable at the moment. Very little surf from Franklin and Harvey althogh things are looking up for us later this season! Great swell may be heading our way for late next week! Could be classic! Check weather for more detail on this!

I've just arrived in Bermuda. On Friday in fact. I am an experienced surfer from Durban, South Africa and was wondering how to hook up with local surfers who know the spots around the island. Who better to know the conditions than the Bermuda locals, right?
