Hey was anyone out at ashbridges bay on Monday? I was out there with two other body surfers. The waves were really big about 6-7 feet. I am not pulling anyones leg either. They were awesome. For surfers it would be hard to catch a good one without being plowed into the bottom... but for bodysurfing it was prime. There was even a dude out there with a tobogan. Now that's canadian surfing. He was doing pretty well too. I have bodysurfed and surfed in California at Dume, Zuma and Hermosa Beach... Even been in pipe at Dume.... not that fun when you crash into the bottom. But I must say at all these places I had a blast... But on Monday Lake Ontario put on an awesome show that was as good as Cali. Plus no sharks..
thanks for reading... Just thought I'd give Lake Ontario it's due.

Jamie you kook. The waves there were not 6-7ft you dumbass. You couldn't make it out into the line up if they were. Quit being a geek, they were wasit to chest high TOPS. If your bodysurfing that makes them overhead but not 6-7ft.
Now back to the gay NS inbread hillbilly. Why do you always have to make your queer jokes here? Not that there is anything wrong with that. Just go to your own gay web sites for that action. Oh standing on the beach watching REAL surfers surf does not make you a surfer you wanna be red neck loser.

I went to the originsurf dot ca site and saw those AWESOME pics. I really am sorry now for all the bad things I've said. It takes balls to go out in that size swell. I know because I don't have any so I would not surf in waves that size. Way to go Ontario and lake surfers everywhere. You guys put me to shame and I'm sorry.

That's okay butt munch. We forgive those who ask for it. Yes, you are indeed a loser wannabe surfer (and gay) but hey to each his own. You may now post in peace little kiddie. All is forgiven by the real surfers.

I'll show you some pics tomorrow. I am 5 10" tall and they were over my head. We we were body surfing on the first sandbar about 30 yards out. The under toe would pull the water into the swell and build it up pretty fast. It was pretty cool out there though. The surfers would have had trouble there, because the waves come in to close together.. There would be no time to paddle and get up because the next wave would be on top of you. We had some nice rides...
Also thanks for taking a stand on the dude from Nova Scotia. I have been out to Lawerencetown and bodysurfed there as well... but I got to say the Waves in DUME and Zuma California are much better.
I miss them....
Hey Bain were do you surf? In Toronto?

Thanks Bain. I'm glad you Ontario surfers are open minded to people with my problem. They call it "poser-itis" and yes there is no cure. As much as I want to go out and surf and wish I could I just can't get nerve to go past the white water. I lay in bed at night and cry in my boyfriends arms. That usually leads to him molesting me but I'm gay so it is okay. Wish I could learn to surf.
