I am lookining to find somewhere in the Toronto area (or north) to begin learning how to surf.  I have been obsessed with watewr sports my whole life and would like nothing more than to learn how to surf before i go away travelling.  If you can help me out, give me a shout as dsapplebaum@rogers.com

East Coast is heating up!! Storm's rollin' in, and her name is Irene. Sweet!

Grab a board 'n' suit and go to eastcoastal states that are relatively close to Ontario, such as Maine or New Hampshire - to breaks like York Beach and Hampton Beach. There's lots of other breaks.

I am heading out in a couple of weeks, I hope there's another storm then too!!

Sauble looks promising right now. NOAA forecast doesn't look too good though.

Erie and Ontario are looking pretty dull according to NOAA. But taht could change overnight.

Two words: inverhuron shoal

Hey man, i found the nicest spot thursday am, I went about 1100 m offshore at inverhuron beach to a shoal out there for head high and barreling, It's a looong ride when the swell is straight onto the shore - goood times!

off to lake o this am and back to inverhuron this pm... hittin' it!
